Official artist to Bruce Lee! I've been commissioned by 'Art You Grew Up With' through Bruce Lee Enterprises to create a portrait of the legend himself for his posthumous 70th this November in San Francisco. Here is the end result! Taken from a still from the last fight in his last film, Enter the Dragon.

A very limited print edition of 70 are being released Worldwide - each one signed by myself and Shannon Lee, Bruces Daughter! Let me know if you'd like keeping in the loop so you get one.

Iconic portraits are for sure a focus, from film, music and sport. The aim is to impart the character and energy of subjects, and create as 3D as possible with several techniques combining for the end effect, almost exploding off the board panels. Facial features and musculature are actually carved out of oil paint so instead of just painting a shadow, it also creates its own. The full effect is unfortunately dampened with online images - but please contact the studio if you'd like to know where pieces can be seen in the flesh, with galleries holding work all over the UK including Manchester, Birmingham and London.

As a dedicated F1 follower, I don't know why it took me so long to get around to capturing THE master Ayton Senna. This was painted through the weekend of the Brazillian GP 2010, which was also 17 years to the day since his last race victory.

Ayton inspired many people to many great things. I can only hope that this portrait is a fitting tribute, RIP.

Animated character projects include an official 10 piece Mr Men series to mark their 40th Birthday in 2011, of which Mr Tickle here is the first. Yes, he was that fun to paint! A limited edition print series will be released through London's Art You Grew Up With.

Homer also took centre stage at Generation Pops Simpson show, here being interviewed by Rock FM, with the gallery manager Rob trying to get in on the action....

Paul's work was ondisplay at the West Midlands Open, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, March - May 2010 Allan the Pheasant is famous!

Wow, that was an event and a half! Entirely down to the efforts of Adam Woodyatt, Ed James, Paul @ Pellier Noir and co, and the generous public - £30k has been raised for Haiti! Lost count of the number of celebs giving up their time through the day, and some of the stage acts were awesome.

And as for Dots signed portrait...... I'm extremely honoured to say that she raised £5,000 through the charity auction. To the gent who won that auction, despite having nowhere to hang it currently, you are a legend.

I even met Nasty Nick in the morning who actually walked up to the painting and said 'Alright Maaaa'. Priceless! Paul Oz

As anyone who knows Paul will testify, he's always been into movies and costumes. The full size movie accurate Sandtrooper in his hall is evidence of that.........So perhaps a little overdue is a series dedicated to screen icons!

The first pieces in early 2009, 'With great power, comes great responsibility', and 'Yeah, I can fly' were accompained by 'The New Rainmaster, Lewis Hamilton' and 'To infinity, and beyooonnnddd!', as well as posthumous credits to the late great Heath Ledger, and the Legendary king of pop, MJ.
